  • Soak the poppy seeds in a bowl of warm water for 30 minutes, then drain.
  • Put the poppy seeds in a small blender.
  •  Add 100ml / 3½fl oz (½ cup) water.
  • Then process to make a smooth paste.
  • Transfer to a container.
  • Chill in the refrigerator.
  • This paste can be stored for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
