Put the cumin seeds into a dry frying pan (skillet) and fry over high heat for 30 seconds, or until browned and fragrant. Be careful not to burn them.
Remove from the heat, transfer to a spice grinder or mortar, and process or pound with a pestle until ground.
Put all the fruits together in a glass bowl and mix with a salad fork and spoon. Add all the remaining ingredients including the roasted ground cumin and mix well.
Chill a little before serving.
