Ingredients
- 75 g Sago (1/2 cup)
- 250 ml natural (Plain) yoghurt (1 cup)
- 300 g Rice flour (2 cups)
- 1 Onion sliced
- 4 Curry leaves chopped
- 6 Green chillies de-seeded and chopped
- 1 Coriander (Cilantro) leaves bunch, chopped
- 125 ml Vegetable oil (1/2 cup)
- Salt
Instructions
- Soak the sago and yoghurt in a bowl of water for about 2 hours.
- Add the rice flour, onion, curry leaves, chillies and coriander to the sago and yoghurt mixture.
- Then season with salt and add enough water to makea batter of pouring consistency.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan (skillet) over medium low heat and pour a ladleful of the batter into the frying pan.
- Spread it over the base like a pancake and fry for about 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Flip it over with a spatula and fry the other side for a further 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Transferto a serving plate and repeat with rest of the mixture.
