Ingredients
- 500 ml Dosai batter (2 1/4 cups), (see recipe Dosa), fermented overnight
- Vegetable oil for frying
To serve
Instructions
- Make the batter according to the recipe Dosa and allow to stand overnight.
- The next day, heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan (skillet) over medium-low heat and pour a ladleful of the batter into the frying pan.
- Spread it over the base like a pancake and fry for 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Flip it over with a spatula and fry the other side for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Transfer to a serving plate and repeat with the rest of the mixture. Serve hot with Coconut Chutney and Sambhar.
