  • Rinse the raisins in a bowl of water, then drain.
  • Cook the grated bottle gourd in a pan of boiling water for about 5 minutes, or until soft.
  • Drain and pat dry with kitchen paper (paper towels).
  • Then grate again and squeeze it lightly to remove excess water.
  • Put the yoghurt in a large bowl.
  • Add the grated bottle gourd, raisins and the rest of the ingredients.
  • Mix together.
  • Chill for 1 hour before serving.
