Ingredients
- 75 g Cumin seeds (3/4 cups)
- 70 g Black Peppercorns (2/3 cups)
- 5 tablespoons Black Salt
- 35 g Dry Mint leaves (2⅔ cups)
- 3 teaspoons Ajwain seeds
- 2 teaspoons Asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon Tartaric Acid
- 150 g Amchoor (1⅓cups)
- 3½ tablespoons Salt
- 4 tablespoons Ginger Ground
- 4 tablespoons Yellow Chilli Powder
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients, except the Amchoor, salt, ground ginger and yellow chilli powder, in a mortar and pound with a pestle.
- Alternatively, grind in a spice grinder, to make a fine powder.
- Transfer to a clean, dry bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Sieve (strain) and store in a sterilized, dry and airtight container.
