Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Urad dal rinsed and drained
- 3-4 Red chillies dried
- Asafoetida pinch of
- 1 Tomato large, chopped
- 250 ml Natural (plain) yoghurt (1 cup), whisked
- Salt
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan (skillet) over high heat, then reduce the heat. Add the mustard seeds, urad dal, dried red chillies, and asafoetida and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add the tomato, reduce the heat to low and, cook for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- When cool, add the yoghurt and season with salt, then mix well.
